Nobody wants my money

I moved into my new build home 12 months ago and it took a while to get the gas and water sorted out but we got there in the end.
But I am running out of ideas for electricity as nobody seems to want my money.
Having spoken to some people on the street they are being supplied by EDF (which is the same as my gas supplier) but upon calling them they tell me that they do not provide me with electricity.
Other people on my street are being provided by Powergen but again, when I called them they tell me that it is not them but that the local distribution is Yorkshire Electric (or whatever they are called today) but they to deny everything.
So I have written to all 3 (twice) telling them what current meter reading is and that if they don't respond in 21 days, they can forget back dating any charges.
NOTHING
So whilst it is nice to get free electricity you just know sooner or later somebody will try and hit me with a huge bill so does anybody know how I find out who supplies my electricity? This is now getting silly and I want to find them before they find me.

Contact your local MPAS service with your meter serial number, they will be able to advise you who the supplier is.0

I have the same problem with my gas supply, nobody wants my money either!'The only thing that helps me keep my slender grip on reality is the friendship I have with my collection of singing potatoes'

call 0845 3300889 yorkshire elec mpas, its probably not either company you have contacted. Going by area npower and bg are quite popular in this area might be one of those.0

i would suggest going back to the builders and asking them for company they used and supply numbers so you can then contact the new connections department of the company give them your readings and details-ask them to work out what you have used manually so you can budget for this- new builds can take a while to appear on mpas data bases-eventually it will appear and charges are backdated35k savings no debt0

GAS SUPPLY - If you do not have a bill or cannot see it the information on a recent bill, call Transco's Meter Helpline on 0870 608 1524 and ask them for your MPRN number and name of your registered supplier if it not shown or your recent gas accounts.
ELECTRICITY SUPPLY - Again the first step is look at a recent electricity bill, if it not clear what your MPAN (Meter Point Administration Number) call your local electricity distribution company. You should ask for their Meter Point Administration Service (MPAS). If you are not sure who your local electricity distribution company is, contact Energylinx0 -

Poss Molly is putting the money away & getting the interest!
Took 2 years to sort out who my supplier was - & when it was sorted they reduced the bill dramatically & I only ended up paying an extra qtr's fees!!!
