Unable to order online as websites don't recognise my address

I have tried to order currency online from several providers, but all of them will not process my order as they do not recognise my address. When I enter my house name and postcode it says it does not recognise, or cannot find my address. I bank with First Direct but even their website wont let me order. So I am forced to order over the phone which means I have to pay commission, or get a worse rate. I wont use the currency exchange websites as when I did once before my credit card got cloned.

Had the same problem. My UK address is
House name, Village, Postal Town, postcode.
That's the address the PO have, that's the address on the deeds.
That is my address, that is the address found on web-sites when you put in the postcode. It's just that some sites wont accept that the 'street' has no name. Sometimes I put 'There is no F***ing name' as the street name (much to the postman's mirth). Some times you can get away with 'main street' or as in the case of the mobile network 3 it just won't let you proceed even though they filled in the address.
I just refuse to deal with them after that, life's too short.0 -
Ha ha!
I had exactly the same problem at my work where I couldn't process an order without adding the second line of the delivery address so I put in "There is no f*****g second line". The parcel was duly delivered and I had some explaining to do. I've not done it since.0
