I’m having a bit of a problem with my Nexus4…..

Whenever I make a call, the screen dimstotally in a very short period of time, and none of the buttons will bring itback to life again so I can activate the touch screen. Hence people gettinglong silent answerphone messages and I find it impossible to use any servicesthat involve pressing numbers to access services, such as telebanking.

Is there anything in the settings that canfix this?

Thanks

I had a similar problem and I think it was the screen protector covering a sensor. Took it off and has been fine since.

That would make sense actually. It is a recent problem and I have just changed the screen protector, thanks a lot.

My SP is a mm or so out of place, will try re jigging it and see if that helps.

Does your screen protector have a cutout for the proximity sensor? If not, that'll be the cause rather than it being a mm or so out of place.

Ah ok. Is the sensor the two little dots in the top left?

    Thanks again

Yeah that's them, it's a problem in a few phones. My iphone 4s had issues, but wasn't the screen protector, it was actually the skin I used, just forgot to remove it over the sensor :D
