bees
there were some gaps in our brick work that i kept seeing bee's come in and out of and decided to fill them in today however on doing so within about 5 minutes there were about 20-30 of them doing there upmost to get in! Is there anything i should do or will they get bored and find/build a nest somewhere else soon?

Pass. Fairly big and have a yellow back I think.0

Ok the best thing to do would be to unblock the holes. They will be trying to get to the nest as the rest of the nest you have buried alive. If they are bummble bees they will be gone if a month or so then block the holes up. But if you dont unblock the holes they will just leave in the end.
If they are honey bees you need to contact a bee keeper
so info about nests and bees

Definatley unblock the holes you blocked in.
They are more likely just the bumblebee, leave them be
{Sorry about the pun
}They will be gone in a few weeks,we get some every year.
You are lucky to have bee's in your garden, they are wonderful to watch & they will help pollinate your plants & surrounding fields.
You can find out more about the bee's,who's who & who does what & how to identify them here..

I second Dorsetlady`s advice. PLEASE unblock if you haven`t already. Pretty sure they aren`t honeybees from what you`ve said.0

If it's a red - orange back, they could be mason bees? They are solitary bees, not hive-dwellers, and I don't believe they do much damage to brickwork. They're very pretty, and worth looking after.
Try a Google image search.... Mason Bees0 -
Thats good to hear hope it comes out ok as you dont want the bees finding a way out into your house.I would like to be a glow-worm.

If you block up their exit to the outside world, they will end up inside your house. Not good!0
