You and your hubby looked fab hun, am so glad you had such a fabulous day, especially after all the waiting
I have moments of feeling like I miss my wedding but I think it's actually the being all done up and looking and feeling amazing that I miss. Maybe I need to have a posh day each year where I get my hair and make up done and stick on a pretty frock
Very happily married on 10th April 2013

DH (eeeeeeeee I can use that now :T)Can't help thinking he made me wait 8 years for the wedding and now 7 months for the honeymoon :rotfl:
I'm off with DD to Gibralter in August - does that count as a honeymoon or does the groom have to go :rotfl:
At least its a shorter wait for the honeymoon.
The day after their wedding a friends hubby went on a walking tour with her brother for their honeymoon, when they came back ten days later she complained he'd come back so soon as she was enjoying the peace and quiet. So possible not0 -

DH (eeeeeeeee I can use that now :T) was in charge of the honeymoon. I didn't want to knw anything about where we going etc as it was to be a surprise.
The guy did good! (and bad....) we are off to South Africa, travelling around Cape Town and the Winelands (staying in a gorgeous chateau for a couple of nights) and then on to Dubai. HOWEVER............... I have to wait to December  I know
I love it hot hot hot and even though it would be low 20s in July (when we could have gone) it will be hotter in December (as it's their summer) so I can see his thinking.

Yup, the guy did good!Sounds fabulous! I can see his thinking, and personally I too would prefer it to be hotter as well, but I'm like you, and would want to be going straight away! :rotfl: It's something to look forward to at least! In the meantime, you could maybe go on a mini moon to somewhere in the UK, for a weekend or a few days perhaps?
My parents have offered to pay for our honeymoon to Las Vegas!! :j We could wait and go in September/October the months we have always gone there in the past, but I want to go NOW! I'm really impatient! :rotfl:
When you say 8 years, is that the time you've been together, or the time you've been engaged for?0 -

Looks amazing! Is that Crusoes? My hubby will be so jealous, it looks fab. We had our reception across the road at the Grand but he would have loved Crusoes and always makes us go there (rather than the Grand) when we are in Tynemouth! (Crusoes was too small for us but we told most of our guests to make sure they went there for a coffee or something at some point over the wedding weekend)
We had our honeymoon a few months later, is a killer to wait at first but you'll love being able to plan and enjoy the build up once the wedding excitement dies down!0 -

Yes it is - it was the closest we could get to the sea, without actually being in it :rotfl: Aren't there muffins amazing!
We often go for sunday breakfast there, it's the only place we would have had as our venue.
Luckily it only holds 120 like you say, so we sectioned parts off with a kite and had that area as our photobooth etc and so it didn't look too big for us as we only had 70.
It does hold 150 including the decking - but how could you make guests sit outside in the rain :rotfl:Forty and fabulous, well that's what my cards say....0 -
Well done!!
Chuffed it went so well for you!!0
