Bought a usb interface data cable from e-bay, to fit my samsung T100, but it won't connect any ideas. Original reason was to unlock it so I could use my 3g chip in it ( don't need anything other than phone calls and messages) I got the £2.99 500 minutes/100 texts per month option but phone is a brick NEC 616 and I like my samsung T100 help please. Once I do connect how do I unlock it as software which came with it is for downloading ringtones etc.

you can unlock it with the original t100 cable that came with the phone
usb cable wont work for unlocking afaik
also i think 3 have stoped these working with t100s now (as well as other phones) as i think they did a sim update to stop them.

i used a serial data cable to unlock mine (£1 from ebay) and used a program called Cerebros to unlock it very simple and easy to use, unlock within minutes. PM if you want the program and i will forward it to you.
