I changed my nokia N73 fascia, dont this once before so was confident as my last attempt was successfull.

However, this time round I changed the fascia and thurned the phone on. Everything working!

I made a call to test it out and the person on the other line can hear me but I cant hear them. When they speak I can just about hear them there is a slight hiss which isnt the problem.

The problem is when I speak they cant hear me.

I opened the phone up a few times, tightened screws but no success

Where is the speaker on that phone? Have I put the two speakers on the wrong way round? There are two small square peices which you need to take off, I thought they may have been on the wrong way round so swapped them over but still no success.

PLEASE HELP!

I don't think those two white squares are anything to do with the speaker, I didnt put them in my phone and it works fine... the speaker is located immediately above the lcd

the microphone is in the bottom of the back case and is a small black rubber round piece with two small springs sticking out of it, I damaged mine when I first put my phone back together and had to buy a new piece off eBay for £5

I moved that black bit with two gold rings on it, i moved it around slightly and put the cover back on. Everything seems fine!

    Thanks!

your welcome!, they need to be aligned so that the two springs are horizontal and on the right hand side, will match the strip on the motherboard where it connects
