Purchased a Samsung smart tv less than 12 months ago from a Tesco Home store and have lost proof of purchase. Any ideas how I can invoke a warranty repair without proof of purchase?

Hi, do you have a bank statement or credit card statement showing the transaction?
Or did you have to provide tesco's your name and address, I know you use to for tv licensing but not sure now..0 -
I paid cash unfortunately!! I have tried to raise A warranty call but tesco need a reference number from the receipt to progress0

you could try going into tescos and asking for proof of purchase.
make sure you have as much detail as you can about it, ie the date it was bought on, the product name, cost, etc
they should keep that stuff for at least a year.
it could be quite difficult to find on thier system thou.
have you tried contacting samsung direct to see if they will do anything without proof of purchase?0 -
They won't provide a receipt for a cash sale, since it could have been bought by anyone.it could be quite difficult to find on thier system thou.
I also doubt Samsung will be any help either unless the OP bothered to register the TV with them at the time..
I think the OP will be paying for this repair unless he can locate his own receipt.0 -
As above, did you reg it with Samsung? if so, get it repaired under their warranty. No free lunch, and no free laptop
