Hi,My numbers being ported from Vodafone to Ovivo today.
It says that I need to re boot my phone at 6pm today however I am working then. Does it matter if its not done at 6 on the dot?
Do I just have to turn the phone off or does the sim need to be removed (it's an iPhone 4)?
Many thanks

    You can do this later.
No need to remove the sim.
Turning off/on is fine, but I've heard that Ovivo for some mysterious reason asked to remove the battery, that is impossible for iPhones.

I won't matter. At some point during the day your phone will say that it has no signal.

If you are using your Vodafone sim: At that point turn it off and put your new Ovivo sim in and turn it back on. It should then work with Ovivo. If it doesn't turn it off an back on a few times over a period of time as the change over may take a little while.

If you are using your Ovivo sim: turn the phone off and back on.

it doesn't matter what time you do it. You just have to make sure its done after its been changed over so you can start using it.

some phones dont even need to be reset and can just work.

for the iPhone, just reboot the phone and it should sort it
