Complain about what? Your car is driveable and they are trying to source a new part. Most people wouldn't be happy with a part from a breakers.
If you are happy with this, phone your insurer and ask if you can finish the repair yourself. Find out how much it will cost to fit it first.0 -

Probably the same breaker that stole my sisters money, Selling parts they just do not have. Having to jump through hoops to get a refund now.
Most people would be rather upset having 2nd hand parts fitted. If your happy to have 2nd hand parts then tell them that.
Dont expect them to use dodgy traders on ebay though.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -
I've never known a stone guard to be on back order for more than a week and definitely not 8 weeks.
All main dealers parts depts should be able to get one overnight (VOR) if necessary or within a couple of days at the most.0 -
I agree a very easy part to obtainDon't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.0

If they are ready to give that part. Then don't Complain they will provide you when that source will be available.
Shouldn't there be a reasonable timescale.0
