Do you mean you got a new card? You can't disable the contactless on a card.

Also you are aware that on the newest version of Visa's, MC's and Amex's contactless EMV, skimming is no longer possible as enough details are no longer provided. (I.e. no name provided).

I've disabled the contactless by drilling a small hole through the wave antenna on all my cards. All I used was a poweful cree lamp, and small drill. They all still work for chip and pin, mag stripe or oyster.

I mean't without damaging the card. Good luck using that card in magstripe countries.

Most new magstripe POS sale now ask "Is the magnetic card damaged or tampered with in anyway and does signature match? Yes or No"

I've done similar mate as I didn't know where to turn if someone cloned my card for £20 like pay my bills etc, so I had a barbecue last night and instead of drilling my cards I just threw my whole wallet including contents straight into the barbecue.
