upgrading broadband speed ?

I am on virgin media 20mb broadband - it gets an A rating in a ping test with no loss - I am getting some data lag playing online slot machines at an online casino - would upgrading to 30, 60 or 100mb get rid of the datalag , and would it make my play faster --- or if the 20mb is 'enough' - would it not make any difference -- or would it ALWAYS make it play faster ?

It depends where you!re pinging! A wider pipe (faster speed) does not necessarily mean a better ping rate - you should look at getting the 30Mb service - which is the current basic level, I won't cost you any more.

Possibly the browser lagging rather than the internet connection.

Whats an A rating? Whats the actual ping result?

Its probably only sending a small amount of data so even a 1mb connection should be fine.

Oh yes it will I too am on 20Mb.
Just phoned Virgin to ask if I can go on the 30Mb at no extra cost.
They said NO! unless I want to pay more as I have a loyalty discount .
