Hi all, I know the original posts in this thread are old but the topic is relevant as ever!

Anyone know of wedding dress sales in the London Luton area within the next few months please?

This is a little shop in Uckfield, which is middle of Sussex. They are a really nice bunch and I got my dress from there, they gave me just the same service as if I was spending £3000, not haggling my dress down to £300 LOL!

This friday and saturday a francesca sale at Formal affair, Magnus, Wilnecote, Tamworth of ex season and samples. Gowns from £50.

I received a flyer from sugared Almonds in Earby, Lancs to say 25% off all dresses ordered up to 10th Oct.
I rang my more local Sottero stockist who won't discuss prices over the phone but have made an appointment for me to go in tommorow and discuss prices with them after I told them I can get the discount elsewhere. Hope they match.

I noticed whilst waiting for the bus the other day that Ann's bridal Shop in Leighton Buzzard are having a sample sale at the moment.
(Leighton Buzzard is 30mins from Euston on train)

tomorrow (sunday) there is a wedding fayre at the red lion hotel in basingstoke, but it is also going to be a wedding dress sale with all dresses there half price. I bought my dress at a sale like this in southampton, was a bit stressful trying on dresses but worth it for the bargains - if you can keep your head when they are throwing you their sales pitches and all telling you that the dress is perfect for you to get the sale then its well worth it - i got Shania by Romantica for £275! Am heading down tomorrow still as they are said to have shoes, tiaras etc on sale. Hope this helps but sorry if it turns out to be rubbish - its only one shop - elderberry brides that are there with sale, whereas the one i went to in southampton was about 10 shops!! But will also be a standard wedding fayre and is free entry.
