Wedding Dress Sales - please list here!

Now as there are so many of us MSE brides out there, I thought that to make it easier for ourselves, we could actually post where there are bridal / sample sales in our area or if we've seen any around.

I'll start. Bridal Centre, Farnborough are currently doing a sale with some dresses only £150.

If anyone sees any sample sales with Amanda Wyatt being one of the designers among them, please can they let me know! Thanks!

All That Glitters, Shirley near Croydon had two sales racks. Also the people that run this shop provide the most amazing customer service.

The big bridal shop at Lakeside always seems to have a sale on after Christmas, but the shop that my daughter bought her wedding dress from has 2 sale racks in the store at the moment - I had a look and one was £8000! :eek:
Depends on the definition of 'sale' I suppose! :rotfl:

I think now seems to be the peak season. The reason being that most brides get their dresses six months in advance so most buy in Jan time. It's the quiet season now as most of those brides are going up the aisle.

I no longer need this info as I got my dress off an Ebay seller. I tried on the dress at a bridal shop and loved the dress and thought I'd try my luck and indeed got lucky. I got the same dress, brand new in my size and 30% off the retail price. I'm so happy!

However, let's keep this thread going as I'm sure this info will be useful for others!

Farsley brides in Leeds has a HUGE sale at the end of Sept every year and most dresses are £99 £150, they always have some dresses on sale in the shop all year round too

Morning all!

I emailed Confetti and Lace to see when they are having their sale starts and they told me that their summer sales are as follows:

Lakeside - 16 July - 7 August
Salisbury - 23 June - end July

Hope this helps somebody - I found me a beautiful ex-sample wedding dress in a small boutique in London yesterday reduced down from £3500 to £250!!!! I am SO chuffed!!!
