hello
I 've tried so many restaurants at the price range of below 10 GBP and the food was awful.
I find the food at Pret-a-manger awful, and all the similar brands.
There are numerous tenesee/kentucky/montana/etc - chicken, KFC knock-offs, where I wonder why the government hasn't shut them down, since they dont follow any food hygiene rules
Is the situation that bad? can't anyone eat real tasty food at a good price? even a good fast food!
Things are really terrible and frustrating regarding food
I am looking for take-away or casual restaurants where you can eat natural (and not processed rubbish) cooked or roasted food, any suggestions?
Hint: I probably like Morrisons food which looks nice (I havent tasted it) and is reasonably priced, although its variety is very limited

Pret vs morrisons and you go with morrisons? Why do you think morrisons have less processed rubbish than pret?
I know it's well into vino time and I am probably troll feeding but I bite.June challenge £100 a day £3161.63 plus £350 vouchers plus £108.37 food/shopping saving

Fresh, high quality food costs money. So you will struggle to find anywhere that is cheap, but also sells quality food.
If you are worried about hygiene, then check this site out: http://www.scoresonthedoors.org.uk/0 -

All takeaways have to follow food hygiene rules, thats why we have environmental health laws. If you are concerned you can check their inspection scores on line before using them.

Which is the same as the Scores on the Doors site that I mentioned. Except that the Scores on the Doors site is easier to use. It also has an iphone app.Jamie_Carter wrote: »Fresh, high quality food costs money. So you will struggle to find anywhere that is cheap, but also sells quality food.

whereabouts in the country ?
As a general rules, I's say avoid the chains and look for good local independent delis and sandwich shops....0 -

I just dinned at Mickey's fish and chips shop, near Borough station.
The grilled fish was so overcooked. The fries were as if they reheated them in the microwave. The olives had no taste at all, neither salty or acidic. Total rubbish. And I paid 15 pounds.0 -

I am so bored of people who come up with troll accusations0 -
Morrisons isn't actually all that bad tbh.
But generally stay away from the fast food chains - too much fat & salt & generally a bit yuk & go for local indie cafes & bars instead. Am sure your town has loads of thosewhen life gives you lemons, stick them in your top & pretend you have pointy boobs.
When life gives you melons, stick them in your top & say you've had a boob job0
