hi....we have just had
an old kitchen removed and skipped
plastering sorted out
walls/woodwork painted
hole in floor mended (dont ask)
new kitchen installed ( just over £9000)
for £1800
oh and 5 new sockets put in...kitchen size 4m x 4m
we found a man of rated people and he did a great job..we chose a b and q kitchen ready made and the man moaned on about ikea kitchens saying they were carp but only one opinion
whole thing took 7 days

Many fitters and plumbers don't like Ikea kitchens because of there is no space behind the units for pipes and cables. This means if your pipes and cables don't run at ground level they have to run inside the units instead of behind them.
Also even if the fitter and plumber doesn't mind fitting an Ikea kitchen they may not like Ikea sinks due to the wastes that come with them.
In short find a fitter who does install Ikea kitchens and find out if they have any issues with any part of it.I'm not cynical I'm realistic
