Instead of a holiday abroad we were thinking about a few nights in Blackpool. Can anyone recommend a 4/5* hotel, reasonable prices. Or a boutique b&b. I remember one being on 4 in a bed programme but cant remember the name. Would like to have parking & a pool if possible.
Also any hints/tips for cheaper entertainment prices like shows, zoo, pleasure beach, tower etc?

Blackpool and boutique hotels strike me as strange bedfellows.
The Village Herons Reach has parking and a pool, as well as gym, golf course etc, although it's not on the sea front - there are usually some offers around for it

there's a ticket that covers multiple attractions

Tesco Clubcard do the PB, Zoo etc in their rewards. Also you can sometimes pick up 2 for 1 vouchers on ebay pretty cheap.0 -

Good deals can often be had via laterooms or hotels.comFeudal Britain needs land reform. 70% of the land is "owned" by 1 % of the population and at least 50% is unregistered (inherited by landed gentry). Thats why your slave box costs so much..0 -

one of the best options from a ticketing point of view for the attractions is the resont passThe futures bright the future is Ginger0 -

Lol...i don't even have kids hehe! I went years ago as a kid and absolutely hated it...mainly because the b&b was horrible, so dirty, full on hen partys and just generally a nightmare.
Went a few years ago with my now husband, expected to hate it again but had a really good time. We stayed in the parkwater in St Annes, it had a pool and a lovely dinner included in the price. The attractions are good, loads to do/ see. I like the buzz of the place but nice to stay somewhere you can get away from it at the end of the day.
I can see why some people hate it if you prefer a classy more relaxed atmosphere but looking fwd to it!0 -
