Ebay dispute

Think if I'd bought a camera off ebay I'd expect it to include a usb lead and disk so I could at least use it, unless the listing stated they weren't included. Without seeing the listing it's hard to second guess how misleading it was, or wasn't. But considering most of you sell on ebay I'm not too surprised to see you all siding with the seller for passing on some useless junk.
Yet if you bought it from Jessops, Tesco or wherever one normally buys a camera - it likely wouldn't come with an SD card - so why should a second hand seller?!
A cable is normally expected, but if it didn't state it in the details, and I didn't ask - I wouldn't throw a fit about it.
I don't sell on eBay, and don't think they've sold useless junk at all. People should read the listings."There is no medicine like hope, no incentive so great, and no tonic so powerful as expectation of something better tomorrow." - Orison Swett Marden0 -
Cameras don't need a usb cable to work, a sky box does.
Cameras also don't need a card to work, they all have internal memory so technically it doesn't need to arrive with a card to be able to use it.0 -
My camera didn't come with a card, in fact none of the cameras I've bought did. Remember the old film cameras. It's like buying one of them and saying it needs film.Warning: any unnecessary disclaimers appearing under my posts do not bear any connection with reality, either intended, accidental or otherwise. True indeed, but i bet you would expect the cable and plug to be included without it being specifically mentioned?:D
I did - but they wern't :rotfl:
But it did not say they were - and the pic only showed the box - so i got what i paid for. The power leads and a scart are easy to get and most have them laying around - as with USB cables.
I didn't make a fuss - as i got what was advertised (and i only paid £4 for it).0
