I've never included the cost of deliveryWife and mother :jGrocery budget
April week 1 - £42.78 | week 2 - £53.0524lbs in 12 weeks 15/240 -
I don't include my delivery cost because its cheaper than buying petrol and I wouldn't count the petrol to get there to buy it!
NSD yesterday but that was because I lost my purse which had over £40 in it and 2 bus ticket vouchersreally upset cus it was money I needed for ds1 birthday next week but I can't do anything about it now. Card cancelled so its going to be difficult to get money out for a week or so so at least ill save a little bit there.

It doesn't help when all the kids are at home roaming the cupboards. Biscuits disappearing like there's a famine on and my requests for a bit of home baking to be done falling on deaf ears!0 -

I don't count cost of fuel as I walk to the supermarket and back (it is across the road!) If I go to a different supermarket and take the car I don't count fuel as it is usually incorporated into a journey for something else. I would include my delivery charge if I was doing it online though but I would adjust my budget up by £2.50/£3 or whatever. It works for my OCD brainMortgage at 12/07/2022 = £175,000

Spend of £8.28 today - went to Ald. + Mr A.
I got peaches, tomatoes, bananas, celery, beetroot, red onions, pack of 3 peppers, 15 eggs, lemonade, orange juice, deodorant for Mr F.
Plus I got 2 jars of mustard. 1 jar - Aldi - 49p + 1 jar Mr A - 27p. I want to do a comparison on cheap mustard. I don't like it as is but Mr F does. I do use it in cooking - quiches + JJ's Herby Cheese Bread.
I think I got a good amount of stuff for what I spent.Decluttering Achieved - 2023 - 10,364 Decluttering - 2024 - 8,365 August - 0/45

Think I'll just leave out the delivery charge then, I think £100 is quite ambitious if it includes delivery, especially for our first challenge. We shall see though.
Can anyone recommend a Philly cheese alternative I can get from tesco? It would need to work for cooking and be more creamey tasting than cheesey, if that makes sense. Philly is one of the only things I buy that isn't supermarket value/own brand.October Grocery Challenge: £20.65/£150
