Should we have a 'sticky' re Parking Eye?

So many it seems arrive on the forum because of a small claims from Parking Eye(far above all other PPCs).....many posters no doubt do read what has been posted already but so many start their own threads still asking for (the same) advice. So perhaps a sticky might help those who regularly advise?
Just a thought.
Just a thought.

That assumes that they would find & read the Sticky rather than adding to some random outdated thread as 50% currently do.0

The problem is that there are already to many sticky threads IMO , half of them should go. And a lot of people use a search engine and hijack threads by posting on there. It's better to have one thread, one issue and stick to it, at least we know people are getting the correct advice. When posting a parking issue on MSE do not reveal any information that may enable PPCs to identify you. They DO monitor the forum.
We don't need the following to help you.
Name, Address, PCN Number, Exact Date Of Incident, Date On Invoice, Reg Number, Vehicle Picture, The Time You Entered & Left Car Park, Or The Amount of Time You Overstayed.

There's a sticky thread about the general topic:
Small Claims & PPCs
It may be worth asking the OP (dggar) about modifying the content of the first post (I can't edit posts), even if it's simply a link to the relevant Pepipoo thread, given that their forum members are helping people with Parking Eye cases.
This assumes that the majority of forum visitors actually read the sticky threads in the first place.0 -
Can you ask remove the conduct sticky threads and feedback one as well, we got the point at that time, now they serve very little purpose and take up 3 thread spots that make people need to scroll down even furtherWhen posting a parking issue on MSE do not reveal any information that may enable PPCs to identify you. Yes please... As someone who has just come here over the last couple of days after receiving a PCN from Parking Eye, this would be very helpful...0

Update: One sticky has been removed, the others will be looked at in due course.
Also it's best not to have a sticky thread that singles out a particular PPC. Advice should be similar for any PPC that issues a court claim.0 -
It will be worth seeing if Parking Eye will carry on with the court-case and not drop it at the 11th hour or do a no-show when a well-written defence is entered.0

IMHO what Parking Eye are currently doing is not big and it's not clever. So we do not need a special thread 'bigging' them up.
What goes around comes around and PE will regret this aggressive approach in the long run as it will alienate people and prospective clients.
Everyone should be complaining in writing to any local Retailer which currently uses Parking Eye and pointing out that this is a firm perceived by the public who have been victimised, as a megalomaniac outfit making money and scoring points by taking the retailers' own customers to court; disabled, elderly, families, vulnerable people and all. It is a sad fact that the private parking industry leaches money out of the economy and retailers are guilty of colluding with it...or are blind to it and need to open their eyes.
Complain enclosing a copy of 'Parking Eye v Somerfield' with a warning for the Retailer to beware because they might well be next in line to regret using this firm - and it is certain that their custom will suffer as a result of this aggressive ticketing enforcement.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
