Cancelling a contract with Buymobilephones.net

Hi I am new to all this so please bare with me.
I recently placed an order with buymobilephones.net and am a little worried. I canceled the order before it was even sent out but they still proceeded to send it out and the contract was set up.

Here is a copy of an email I sent them

Hi
On the 31/5/13 at approx 16:00 I placed an order with yourselves for a Samsung Galaxy Note 2. However the following day I changed my mind for various reasons and decided not to proceed with taking out the contract or phone. I rang yourselves up at approximately 10:30 on the 1/6/13 to cancel my order. I was told this wouldn't be a problem and that it would be sorted for me, I then asked if there was anything else I needed to do and I was told no.
However on the 03/06/13 I had a delivery from parcel force from yourselves, which I rejected stating that this order was as far as I was concerned cancelled. I then proceeded to ring yourselves to see what was going on. I was then told there was a mix up and the order was sent, however I was then told the order would be cancelled and again I wouldn't have to do anything else.
Today I received a letter from three saying 'thank you for choosing them' etc and a direct debit has been set up in my account.
What I would like to know is if you have gone ahead and cancelled this order like I originally requested or am I going to get letters of demand for money off 3?
I would prefer the correspondence to be in email format as I am working nights this week.
Thank you for your time in this matter.

That outlines what happened and the timeline. Any advice or experiences similar to this would be extremely appreciated.

Thankyou.
