SD card backup on the move

If I am feeling antsy on holiday about this and want backups, I go into a back street internet cafe and have DVDs made of the SD cards. Met some travellers once, doing a 6 month round the world. They only re-used their cards after getting conf that the DVDs they made & sent home have arrived there.

Don't forget, it's not just data corruption, you could just lose/have stolen your SDs or mistakenly overwrite them.

How about a Belkin USB Anywhere. Allows you to copy data on a device on one USB port to a device on the second USB port. Add in two USB readers, and you are away.

Battery powered, or mains.

I believe that they are obsolete now, but you might find one if try.

It's a media card reader for ipods.. Personally, i'd just buy a bigger memory card - the ipod is more likely to fail than the SD card..
