OK, were in June now, how long before the crop of questions about passport processing times 'because I'm going away next week' from people who couldn't be bothered to renew their passports in good time?
It's a bit like the first Cuckoo of spring.

And then after they've shelled out a small fortune on a trip to Peterborough for a same day passport ...
They'll forget to print their boarding passes!

Just renewed my daughters passport. Filled in form online, sent it off with new photos, none of this flippin "Check and Send" ripoff rubbish, got passport 12 days later. If you have a modicum of intelligence, why do you need some numpty at the Post Office to check a form and a photo for you ? And pay for the privilege ?0

Because the numpty at the Post Office would point out that something on your application that may be 'borderline', which could cause your application to be rejected, which if you've left it to the last moment could./ would lead top exasperation and a post to MSE along the lines of

Bloke reading brochures in the Travel Agents told me I need to have 6 months left on my passport before I'm allowed to travel overseas, is this right?
My neighbor's friend says I need a passport to visit Ireland?
Lady at work says it takes 3 months to get a visa for USA?
Can I add my 6 month old to my passport like we used to?
I'm getting married overseas can I legally travel back on my passport which will then be in the wrong name or do I need to stay in the Honeymoon Paradise Hotel for months until Passport Agency send updated passport out to me (I'm keen on this but future husband not sure how he can get still collect dole and sign on for jobseekers allowance every week).
That's about all the stupid passport questions I remember from here in past few months.0 -
