Just had my EU Compensation refused by Virgin on the grounds that my wife and I were travelling on a Mates rate ticket and therefore under EU regulations not entitled to claim compensation.
Is this correct????
Surely as Virgin themselves offer their staff these work entitlements then they should be as valid as any other ticket, regardless of whether a reduced rate was paid.
