Pretty sure they're not going to starve and die.
I've made a SARs request. Now just to wait until next month to see if he pays anything from the arrears.Grateful to finally be debt free!0 -
Just an update on this:
This month he's paid ongoing maintenance but none of the arrears. He tells me he's not going to pay it until he is happy with it. He doesn't see it as urgent because it's 'not going anywhere'. And the amount they've asked him to pay he can't afford.
I got a call from the CSA yesterday to tell me that he's been issued with a 'pay within 7 days or get a DEO' letter, which expires next Tuesday. He's currently on standing order so they want to change the method anyway and the caseworker suspects that it'll go to a DEO. She has a note on her calendar to start that ball rolling on Tuesday.Grateful to finally be debt free!0 -
Glad to hear that the case is progressing, be warned that if it does to to DEO your first payment may take a little longer to come through.0
