Avomine? That's the one I find most effective, and the instructions do say to take at night for a long journey - though I usually just take one first thing in the morning. I haven't been able to find it in local pharmacies lately so I've been buying it online.

Yes thats the one. She bought it somewhere in our town centre, possibly superdrug or boots.

She started using them but in the end stopped as she wasn't feeling sick. I might give them a try on our cruise in September although most ports are reached early morning meaning we are sailing at night so hopefully will be asleep!
