  • sorry if I get this wrong first time but this may help me! My husband had a lone with Morgan & Stanly in 2003 which was transferd to Liverpool Victoria in 2006 we have tried several numbers and no one seems to want to own it. Have been considering a ppi company but after several successful ppi claims don't see why i should pay someone? Any ideas? Thanks

Who owned it when you finished paying it or are you still paying it?

You should not mix up claim companies with solicitors.
    Or lawyers with solicitors...:p
  • We paid the loan off in 2007 and it says on bottom of letter that the loan was underwritten by liverpool victoria?
  • I know that I was missold PPI, I was told when I got a loan for a car that if I didn't take the PPI I wouldn't be allowed the loan, which I know now is against the rules. Unfortunately I have no idea who the company was (it was arranged through the garage) and it was in 1998 so I think is outside the time limit, Really annoying as I paid £75 a month for 2 years, and could do with the money.

If you complained it would be to the garage, but 1998 predates regulation in 2005 so they wouldn't have to consider any complaint.
  • Can anybody give me some advice. I have had several loans over the past few years. I don 't think I have ever had PPi on any of them but I'm not totally sure.
I can't really remember who I have had loans with though and no idea where to start looking.
What is my first step to try and re-claim if I have got anything to re-claim.
