Oh dear. I don't think the OP has thought this through at all.
I cannot believe you even posted this question.
in my opening post ive said i havent given it much thought!!!
it was just to enquire on this scenario, nothing more!
like i said, i picked it up from someone saying that you could register your car in a trust so it got me thinking, thats all.
but just to argue further, whats stopping from Mr !!!! getting insured, this can be easily done over the phone/internet...they dont even ask for ID.
anyway, it was just a thought.0 -

If you get insurance on the internet you give them ID when you pay with your card.
Most companies will then send out a policy which you have to sign and return.
Next question?0 -

Next question?
ive never signed anything and returned to my insurance company (elephant)
my main question has been answered now, the car would potentially be taken off the road/marker placed on the car ...but it was still an interesting scenario and im sure that some one with alot more time and alot more to hide can possibly evade the law for a certain amount of time atleast.0 -
Google FMOTL. Several have tried it. Cars impounded and big fines.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0

Impounds and fines would be the least of your troubles. Imagine how you would look reporting it if your car got stolen.:A:dance:1+1+1=1:dance::A

If you are trying to avoid speeding tickets, simply replace the fitted number plates with ones bearing the same registration mark as another car of the same model and colour.
Then you would also not need to pay for tax, insurance or any parking or speeding tickets, as someone else has that covered.
However, I would actually advise against this, as it is an offence that will result in quite severe penalties when detected.I want to go back to The Olden Days, when every single thing that I can think of was better.....
(except air quality and Medical Science)

Also, what happens if Mr A XXXX is actually a name to somebody else in an unrelated part of the country.... and one day he gets a knock on the door from collections to collect an unpaid parking fine.... they then report the incident as identity theft, the police look at the vehicles history and trace it back to you (not particularly difficult) and arrest you for fraud?0

If the police pull a driver and run checks, if some kind of offence has been committed and they can not identify you through driving licence or now days finger print. They can arrest you at the roadside and you stay in custody until the court date0
