insuring 2 smart phones
I'm looking to cover my Galaxy Note 2 and my daughter's S4. From what I have read the Nationwide FlexPlus account at £10 a month looks like my best bet. Can anybody offer any advice please before I go ahead with this?
Many thanks,

Yup, read the Ts & Cs re cover for other users (and for everything else).
Did you buy your daughter's phone? If not then there may be issues if you have to provide proof of purchase.0 -
It appears that all dependents under 19 are covered. Both phones are bought not contract. The £50 excess seems good as my contents insurer (AA) quoted a £49 price increase on my policy and £200 excess per claim.
The travel and breakdown cover are an added bonus too!

Read all the terms and conditions as often having phone insurance is a waste of time. Various loopholes mean that if the phone goes missing at school/on public transport etc it won't be covered.
It may be a daft question, but it is worth checking if you already have your phone covered by your house insurance?
The co-op generally does quite good multi-phone insurance policies that may be worth looking at.
Hope this helps.0 -
I recently took out the Nationwide flexplus £10 per month account and have registered 4 family phones inc 2 iPhone 5s and an S3. I was paying £7.99 per monthe previously for each phone.
Just had to make a claim on an iphone 5 and received the replacement a week after submitting the forms. It's a steep £100 excess for iphones though but £50 for others.
I also had to have a police reference and proof of purchase (dispatch note showing the IMEI in my case) plus confirmed that I'd called my network to stop the account, but overall, very impressed with the claim process.
My Stepdaughter was the culprit, and she is 15, and I wasn't even asked her age.0
