Do they all love dressing up?? my now 18 year old hated it at primary, refused to wear outfits en route to school and changed before afterschool club as felt a fool

I was at primary school in the 60's and I loved it, so did my sisters. My two favourite costumes were an astronaut (it was the space race era) and a Norman knight. My grandma knitted me a chainmail suit out of thick string. My dad made me a wooden sword and a cardboard helmet painted silver.

Dressing up at school certainly isn't a new thing.
