The point that is not clear is whether or not this is a car park that issues tickets on the windscreen or from ANPR cameras. It makes a huge difference to whether the PPC is out of time.

If the latter, then they are. If the former, then someone could have taken the ticket off your windscreen. You could ask for a copy to be sent.

But if they are not out of time, then you should write a soft appeal (see stroma's previous posts for an example) and then, with help from here, put your energies into a POPLA appeal.

But the crucial point is ticket or camera.

I was unaware of the PCN until the first letter came 30days later to the notice to keeper
The very next day i then received a letter saying thank you for your correspondence but you have not submitted a written appeal, i had sent no correspondence
Following on from this i wrote a letter to PPC expressing i had not entered into ant contract with PPC inferred or otherwise and owe them nil par- they rejected this saying their signage was adequate sending a
    POPLA appeals form
this is where I'm at now

So you have a POPLA form with a 10 digit verification code?

You have a POPLA code so it's POPLA time! :D

Post #15 here has a lot of info I could think of for a newbie planning a POPLA appeal, follow and read all links and start copy & pasting practically all paragraphs you see as most will apply to your case and IMHO most paragraphs are needed to be sure of winning a POPLA appeal:

HTH and do not send a short but sweet 'normal' appeal to POPLA. You can show your whole (long) POPLA draft here if you want help to fine-tune it.

Great result ken - pleased to have been able to help in a small way.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

    Well done to you :)
When posting a parking issue on MSE do not reveal any information that may enable PPCs to identify you. They DO monitor the forum.
We don't need the following to help you.
Name, Address, PCN Number, Exact Date Of Incident, Date On Invoice, Reg Number, Vehicle Picture, The Time You Entered & Left Car Park, Or The Amount of Time You Overstayed.

That is great news - well done!

If you could copy & paste the full decision & assessor's name into the top sticky thread 'POPLA decisions' it will stay there at the top for posterity and to help others. Or post it here and we'll link it there. :)
