Yes that is why we are doing it so we can park a car on it. I read somewhere that they had developed concreate now that does need the metal mess in it ! Anyone used this ?
The fibres can prevent surface shrinkage and cracking, but are not a substitute for steel reinforcement. So you will still need the steel.0 -

Steel reinforcing can be a DIY job, but the fibres cannot. These are in the mix coming out of the ready mix lorry.0
