I sold a mobile for 65pound and postage cost about 4.50
I sent first recorded and didn't know insurance only covered to 50pound max so nothing I can do now as it sent
so if it still not been delivered in the 15days and I make a claim would I still get my postage money back and 50pound back even though the phone sold for 65

Wrong. Cover is £50, but you should claim asap. http://www.royalmail.com/personal/help-and-support/royal-mails-retail-compensation-policy-for-lossThe truth may be out there, but the lies are inside your head. Terry Pratchett

adouglasmhor Start a claim for delay now and one for loss tomorow.
Wrong you need to wait 15 days for the claim. It's not delayed if it's missing is it.

If an item does not arrive it will not be eligible for compensation for delay, but the item may be eligible for compensation under the compensation for Loss policy.0

Personally, I would give it a bit longer before jumping to conclusions and see if it turns up.Warning: any unnecessary disclaimers appearing under my posts do not bear any connection with reality, either intended, accidental or otherwise. Your statutory rights are not affected.0
