3 mobile overcharging!

Hey!

So, I've been with three nigh on a year now - I'm tied into a 24 month contract for my iPhone 4S and I've always paid my bill on time. Last month I didn't pay my bill on the day, so I paid two months (including anything I went over) rolled into one the day I got paid, which came to £66.24.

I've just checked this month's bill and once again, instead of the standard rate of £29.95, I'm being told I need to pay £66.24!

I just know I'm going to have to spend hours on hold tomorrow or talking to someone who I won't be able to understand just to sort this mess out.

My bank statement clearly states I paid the amount last month. I've not earned enough this month to pay the bill, and I need my phone for college/work.

Is there anything I can do to get out of my contract? Any tips when calling customer services? Help! :(

    You can't get out.
Does your '3' statement shows that you paid £66?

If you pay by a DD cancel it and pay manually until you sort everything out with '3'.

As a side note, you clearly cannot afford having iPhone on such expensive contract.

You paid late, clearly you paid after this months bill was produced, so the payment has not registered against your bill yet, although it would have been received by three and registered against your account.

Check this by calling 333 and see what you owe.

If you owe nothing, simply cancel the dd with your bank so they don't take the money again, then after the bill was due to be paid, setup a direct debit again. this is important its setup before the next bill is produced or you'll be charged £4 as a non dd fee.

Thats it, it'll straighten itself out on your next bill.
