Chargeback for entire cost..?

Now, the company have been placed in administration and I wish to claim back from my credit card via chargeback as the payment was under £100.
Although the payment on the card was under £100, the overall amount was >£100, so you can indeed use S75 to recover the full amount (unless the firm can still perform as promised).0 -

You're entitled to claim as soon as it is clear that the company won't perform - eg if the administrator makes a statement to that effect.0 -
Morning all, thanks for your responses
Just to clarify - the company are being put into liquidation as we speak and I have a letter to confirm this, therefore I wish to action the charge back now.
I paid only 52 quid on my credit card, the rest separately.
I think I will claim for the full amount, all they can do is say no and refund the 52, gotta be worth a go.0 -

Then you should make it clear that you hold the CC jointly liable under S75 for breach of contract as it is clear they will not peform the contract. Claim the full amount . Don't mention chargeback.0 -

Why? It was over £100 so she can indeed s75 for the whole amount. Chargeback shouldn't come into it.0 -
That was the point. The OP said 'chargeback' and meer53 said that apparently a chargeback could be actioned for the full amount.tinkerbell28 wrote: »Why?.. Chargeback shouldn't come into it.0 -
