Walking through Brighton today and I see this tw#t parked blocking the road with an empty parking space next to him.

Words fail me....

Maybe there wasn't a space there when they parked. (although that still doesn't give them the right to abandon their car where they did).

I thought that was allowed in Brighton as long as you have your hazard lights on:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Who knows why they parked there and for how long, whether the entire road was full when they got there, whether they live just there and were fed up with other people using their resident spaces, whether they were helping an old lady take their shopping upstairs, or whatever.

I've done similar a few times - ran in my house, grabbed my wallet and straight back out. So not necessarily parked up, just stopped for a second.

And the fact there isn't a queue behind him suggests the road is either very quiet indeed or he hasn't been there long at all.

So unless you give the photo context, it doesn't really say much about much.

Ah, why bother parking if it will cause the centre of the universe to be inconvenienced. Ability to predict traffic flow, police/fire/ambulance access too. Well done.
