Water Bill / Court Fee

Simple one someone might be able to answer..... if you get county court papers come through claiming you owe Anglian Water £300 + £65 in court fees, and you accept the owed amount and pay off the £300 outstanding the same day you get the papers through the post...... are you still liable to pay the £65 even though you have paid the outstanding debt in full and therefore hasn't had to go through the courts?

Anglian Water sent me a letter to both thank me for paying off my outstanding debt and for taking a swift response, while in the same letter explained I still owe them county court fees that if not paid in 2 weeks will be sent to the court to be added as a judgement against me!

I don't mind paying it if I HAVE to (you know, like legally obliged) but I begrudge paying it if its just one of these "Admin Charge" tricks they pull to con customers into paying when they don't have to, to boost profits.

Any ideas?
