Transferring numbers (contacts) from 6230i to N93

Is there an easy way of doing this via Bluetooth or IR?
(I would like to still have the contacts stored on the old handset as well, as a backup)
since they're both Nokia, is there a standard protocol?
(I don't want to split multiple numbers under one contact name)
BTW I have about 600 contacts and all stored on the phone's memory (6230i)
Thanks

What phone provider are you with? Vodaphone has an online contacts manager that I've just used to transfer numbers between phones.
You go to their website, select your phone type and it sends you an SMS with instal instructions. Load it and it runs and backs up all your phone details to their website. Then select your new phone and it sends another SMS and you can synch it. I did it last week and saved me hours of work! Don't know if other phone co's do it.0 -
Nokia Pc suite does it, back up the first phone then load on the 2nd...Ex forum ambassador

Thanks so much gaming_guy, it worked! you saved me a lot of time!!
The transfer of data worked well, although as a warning to others:
you MUST set the time and date on the "old" phone as well for the transfer of data to work. (inevitably the time/date is lost once you take the SIM/battery out!)
I figured this out myself after quite a few failed tries
PS
I'm with Orange and dont know if they have the same service as Vodafone0
