Free Google Maps for mobiles ???
Hi All,
I've got a w810i & have been recently looking to get some maps onto my mobile. Looked at google mobile maps, but u need to download it through ur wap, which costs money. I'm not really interested in paid services like real-time info. or anything of the sorts, just a plain simple map.
Does anybody know a way, where u can just download these map files through the net & then transfer it through ur USB onto the phone, which would make it free ???
Please post ur ideas, suggestions, experiences.
Thanks.

Google maps is a massive data usage program, DO NOT USE IF YOU DO NOT HAVE DATA INCLUDED IN YOUR TARIFF (sorry had to stress that for other users).
Alternatives include Nokia maps (obviously Nokia's only). About 100mb in total for England/Wales maps, think Scotland is around an extra 60mb big. though it is all free to use so no complaints there!
There's also TomTom Mobile, but its quite expensive around the £70 without a gps module and £100+ with.SLC: £13000+
Quidco: £131.24 (paid) + £0 (validated) = £131.24
Valued Opinions: £75 (paid) + £52.30 (received) + £4.50 (pending) = £131.80
StudentPanel: £250
