Orange Travel Bundles

Hi
Can someone clarify what the Orange Travel Bundles actually mean.

Last year I used the £3 a day 30mb bundle but I see there are monthly bundles now.

I'm looking at this one in particular £15/30MB

Does this mean 30mb per day for £15 a month or 30mb over the whole month?

I'm assuming the latter in which case I'm probably better off paying £3 a day to get 30mb a day.

Bundle expires when you have used all of your allowance or after 30 days - which ever comes first

I think this answers your question.

I agree though that it doesn't make much sense to charge £3 and £15 for the same 30Mb or to give you 150Mb instead of 30Mb for the same £15.

I'm still non the wiser

I'm reading it as You can pay £15 and get 30mb in total for one 30 day period as your bundle or you can buy the £3 per day bundle and use 30mb per day.

Italy for 7 days although I'll have 24/7 wi fi so mobile data shouldnt be an issue (unless wi fi is down and I need to use mobile data), then Greece for 10 days and Greece again for 7

In that case you need to turn Data Roaming off, as otherwise you'll be charged £3 as soon as you access data.

Otherwise local SIMs would be the way to go for Greece if you don't have access to WiFi when necessary.

I used the £3 per day (30mb per day) when I was in Spain. I ended up only using it once so it only cost me £3. The bundle only charges you for the days (midnight to midnight) you actually use it.

I thought I would use it every day for the week, so expected to pay £21 but once on holiday realised I didnt really need it

As NiftyDigits said, make sure your data connection is turned off and only turn it on if you absolutely have to (i.e. no wi-fi)

Thanks for your help. I do switch off roaming normally and my phone cannot access mobile data normally anyway as I have an app to control it.

Might look at local sims too for Greece. 20 Euros sounds a good option.
