Anyone else have a Youview box from BT vision that hasn't automatically updated?

I had a letter from BT, saying that my Youview box would be automatically updated w/c 6th May, but so far, it hasn't happened.

Does this mean that I need to manually download the software update myself?

Has anyone else have a BT Youview box that hasn't updated?

Will my box suddenly stop working if I don't update it?

    I found my way through the menu to settings and software and updated it manually - doesn't look much different TBH...

    I was sent a leaflet in the post from BT saying "Hello and Welcome to your new look BT Vison service" but there doesn't seem to be the changes and improvements, like playlists and bookmarks, promised in the leaflet.

    Still, at least it still works and I didn't lose any of my recordings!

    Your box will recieve periodic updates to improve both the performance and fix glitches. And you will never lose any of your recordings because of this. Just think of them just as general house-keeping updates.
