I would wait for the outcome of the subject access request.
It sounds like you do agree that you had an account with natwest at that time, and so would be very suprised if they did not find some information relating to the account you know you had open.
But if you want to try to do something now then I would write to natwest to ask them to remove the entry. If you ask the CRAs all they will do is tell you they will check that data they hold with natwest.
Thank you, Tixy
I do acknowledge that I held all three current accounts, however it is the balances of the accounts I have dispute with. I may not have included that in my previous posts, sorry.
I find it confusing how the BBA are saying that Natwest have no record of my account, yet the information is clearly listed on my credit report, although someone mentioned earlier that default accounts may not show on BBA searches so I will persevere with the SAR results as and when they come through0 -

Did you quote to them the address the account is linked to on your credit report?Im an ex employee RBS GroupHowever Any Opinion Given On MSE Is Strictly My Own0 -
CRA's can't remove information from credit files. They take instruction from the banks as they're the ones who report it in the first place.0

The BBA letter is useless - it doesn't prove or disprove anything, and Experian will not take it as 'proof' of any statement.
You now just need to sit tight and wait to see what the banks come back with from your SARs. They should provide details of how the accounts became to be overdrawn by those amounts.
You will then need to accept that this is correct, or dispute the transactions that led to these balances with the individual banks.0
