Can she up her hours or get another part time job? 16 hours is not alot of hours and certainly not enough pay to substantiate a life.
Also get her name on the housing list, you should get extra points for overcrowding.
she has been looking for another job for a long time, she took this one as she could not find a full time job but unfortunatly cannot find one, and her firm only employs everyone for 16 hours so will not give her any more0 -
How can people in this country be so cruel that they cannot find some space in their house for their own pregnant and vulnerable daughter ?
The government handouts are very generous towards pregnant women etc but to be thinking of getting rid of your own daughter when she needs you most is just so wrong.
I blame Labour for this. Values have dropped dramatically.
What ever happened to 'If you cant say anything good, say nothing at all'. Standards have really dropped with some people.
Good luck to your daughter Rhosy, that is a hard hand she has been dealt.Love your Mum, you'll never get another one when she's gone.0 -

Boring and how predictable non helpful answer, time to get back to your Daily Mail letters to the editor column I think"Man invented language to satisfy his deep need to complain."

There is nothing extra at the moment she can claim, but when the baby is born she could claim WTC, CTC and CHB.
I hope the father will help out with the baby.
The only good thing is now her wages can go on herself except of course the amount she gives your for her keep.
Whilst with him she must have contribuited to the bills so she could now have slightly more money...
Good luck with the Baby, if she is not entiled to SMP or MA she can claim I.S when she is twenty nine weeks pregnant if she has o give up work early for any reason0 -

If not, is there a family member or friend that could provide a place to stay for your daughter and newborn child?0
