I always use ukreg.com. No longer cheapest but reasonable and very good customer service.

I got mine from 123-reg.co.uk or try heartinternet.co.uk

    Hope this helps.

Which one would be best? I just want to register a Domain Name and nothing else.

Pretty subjective question and I'm not sure that many people would have experience of many registration companies. I personally have only ever used ukreg and 1&1 but prefer ukreg as the process seems easier to me. I don't think there's one that's "best" which of course would also depend on what you mean by "best". Some people may prioritise the cost others customer/technical service and others an equal priority between the two.

I'd second easily been using them for 8 years now - very good, the domain is in your name (not in the name of the reg company as some name reg companies do) and they do no crank up their prices for renewals (another trick used by some).
