Fingers and toes crossed for you both that all is ok.

Soo after all that, he's ok. Vet said it might be an upset stomach and may or may not be conjunctivitis so he has some xantec and antibiotics which I couldn't get him to take so had to hide it in lotus spread. He ate his dinner with gusto, wanted to play tug and is currently trying to destroy his rope toy. He is also burping a lot.

I suspect that when we're not looking, he might be sniggering in a Mutley kind of way that we've just spent our holiday savings on a vet trip. My dog is an evil genius.

Managed to get him to eat most of his food yesterday but today he's eaten about a mouthful of his breakfast and that took a lot of coaxing, so we're off to the vet's tomorrow. I am so worried about him - despite the fact he was having a merry time chasing rabbits on his walk. Didn't want to leave him to go to work but I had to today. Feel like such a bad person.

He has 6 days to go til his vet cover kicks in. Does this mean if it's something he needs surgery or long term care for, the insurance won't pay out?

Not sure about the insurance but I hope he's feeling better soon poor love x

When my son's dog hurt his leg playing rough with my dogs, it was 2 days till the insurance kicked in as the first 14 days weren't covered.

Dog was put on strict crate rest till the 48hrs were up then whisked to the vet for a check up...no harm done fortunately. Just pulled a muscle.

They can be such a worry though. Glad your boy is ok.
