So angry with estate agents!

Any way of landing them in it with the receivers? All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.0 -
Worth a try. I'm not moving out until the end of June. And at the moment I can't walk at all. So depending on how quick they want to move I'm going to insist on some compensation in the least.
And I hope I don't have issues getting my deposit back either!0 -
Same EA's for letting and sale?0

I'm not sure. I let from countrywide and its sold from Bridgfords, I do think they are part of same chain.0

:mad:I am going to make the receivers well aware that they have potentially lost a higher sale.0

I've just rung the estate agents, in a lovely friendly way to check its still the same buyer, which it is. So the first buyer didn't pull out. I have also realised they didn't advertise the 'we have received an offer for the amount of....' Publicly. That small print addition came on their advert weeks after it has been moved to the SOLD STC section of zoopla and right move and it wasn't on their website either.0

Your first mistake was in assuming the estate agent would be helpful towards you. Estate agents work for the vendor and only for the vendor. Never ever forget that.
I'm guessing here that you a) !!!!ed off the estate agents and b) let slip that you were willing to pay £135k. If so the first thing any estate agent will do is tell you that they have a slightly higher offer.0 -
I agree but if they knew I'd pay 135 why wouldn't they try to get me to buy it if the other person is only paying 128?0
