I'm so pleased you have her:T - see, I told you it'd happen if it was meant to be!:D I'm sure she'll come to an amicable arrangement with the cat, in time.:o Aunty Wolfy sends her a big cuddle.:oHoney_Bear wrote: »It's been a long M5 day, but Megan is now here. We're renaming her Mrs Dog.
The cat has already attacked her so she knows her place and she's had two walks on Plymouth Hoe. She thought that was okay, but is now terrified of the cat.
Not a lot achieved today - dogs outside twice before breakfast, poo picked up and sent to poo-bin with Mr LW (he drops it off on the way to work), breakfast eaten, kitchen tidied and washing up done, dogs taken outside for morning exercise with tennis balls, WiiFit done, dogs played with indoors, lunch eaten, dogs outside for lunchtime comfort break, poo picked up and taken to poo-bin when I went to post letter (Royal Mail test item).
This afternoon I shall attempt to make a quiche and a blackberry'n'apple crumble - by the time I've done that it'll be time for the dogs to have their afternoon exercise.:o
Nut loaf with rice and sweet'n'sour sauce for dins tonight.;) I might get the ingredients for the sauce bunged into the pan ready to cook, ahead of time.:oIf your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0

Next doors music is annoying me.
Having a bit of a fling from the garage of doom. I've done a little. Really the CDs and DVDs need to go but it's a big job and not one I want to start now. Maybe the weekend...
Just deciding what's for tea. Ended up throwing DD dinner away. I had told her no ice cream if she didn't eat, but she took no notice, then had a monster hissy when I didn't give her the ice cream. Naughty mummy. I have said she can have one if she eats tea nicely. I'm not giving in. If she faffs she won't be having one.
Put my clothes away upstairs, and picked up any abandoned bits on the floor. Also decluttered my stair basket.
Oh heck. DS pedal has come off his bike again. Better go...Bossymoo
 Away with the fairies :beer:0

Life is too short to stress about housework not yet done...if it's a chore and you'd prefer to be out in the garden or our and about THEN GET OUT (personally I find it easier to clean when the wether's fine, probably because I love having windows and doors open to let the fresh air in;)) the cleaning will wait...
If you've been a VERY good Flylady, though...the house won't even look dirty so no-one will be moaning!
Oh, don't worry, Valli - I don't stress :rotfl: It just really gets on my baps when it's a pit, but I'd much rather make the most of this glorious weather while it lasts.
Came home from work and went straight out in the garden. If I'd said to OH to come and help me, he wouldn't have budged. I cleverly dropped into the conversation that next door were away in Venice and he said "a-ha" and jumped off the sofa. He came back brandishing a bow saw and the ladders and we have just spent the best part of an hour lopping branches to get more light on the garden and tidying up. Result :T Men, eh? You have to act dumb sometimes to make them feel that they've come up with ideas all by themselves. Simple fools :rotfl:
Washing all up-to-date, just need to fold 3 baskets worth and put it away.
OH making dinner whilst I chill a little while, but I'm gonna crack on afterwards before going for a walk with a friend. Another hill to tackle to get fit for the Yorkshire 3PC.

Is it just me that is getting really bored of Game of Thrones? It is all the same, every week.. booooooring!!!!!!
Ah. You've been terribly quiet about this week's episode; did you see it or have you given up with 2 to go?
Anybody wants me, I'll be hacking a space through the floordrobe ‘Keep your eye on the donut and not on the hole.’ David Lynch. ‘Keep your eye on the donut and not on the hole.’ David Lynch.

I've seen it.. it was extremely dull.. it has got all samey..
I've been quiet about every episode.. I don't see it until 3 -4 days after everyone else and everything has been said by then.. but I feel the need to proclaim it is boring me!
OH likes it so I'll watch the last 2.. but I might sleep through the next few seasons.. apparently they are only filming another 4 seasons even though there are currently 6 books and several more in the offing.. though these things change depending on continuing popularity.. or not. It is also rumoured books 4 and 5 will be condensed into 1 season.
Minty new potatoes in the oven and sausages/burgers/pies depending on recipient. Now to find some veg to accompany it!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0

Tomorrow I'm getting a bus pass and will be taking maybe a box worth of things into town to 'trade in'. I also need to see if M@t@l@n will exchange some vest tops DD picked up Monday. She didn't listen to me when I said get a size smaller so they'll be a snugger fit. She reveals a little too much in them
I have outside the house paid stuff this evening, and we haven't eaten yet as DD is still messing around. She was supposed to be just going for a bath, that was at 4.15 and she's only just re-appeared
I've been doing washing all day in between sorting stuff and paid stuff. I accidentally left my peg bag outside on the line for the first time since I bought it on Monday. Just gone out to hang more washing and a bird has only gone and pooped all over it  The first blooming time I leave it out as well
