Theatre Club was a hoot with everyone forgetting their lines and timing - it's gonna be a blast!

Hugs to the poorlies - I'm feeling much better now, but DS has been sick again.

Will try to get up a tad earlier than usual tomorrow and see what I can achieve before I go to work at 9.30. 1 x WM load waiting to get pegged out first thing.

    Pigpen - A 5ft Y3  you don't see that very often!

Dearly wish I could get some decent time off to get flying properly - work tomorrow and Friday; DD at a party Sat followed by a friend of ours party all afternoon and evening. Might as well write Sunday off :o and working every day all next week. At least whilst this weather is nice I am "flying" in the garden instead.

Life is too short to stress about housework not yet done...if it's a chore and you'd prefer to be out in the garden or our and about THEN GET OUT (personally I find it easier to clean when the wether's fine, probably because I love having windows and doors open to let the fresh air in;)) the cleaning will wait...

If you've been a VERY good Flylady, though...the house won't even look dirty so no-one will be moaning!

    Morning,

We are up early :( on our day off... Oh well. Tots snaffling brekkie, and I have a :coffee:

Hoping dusty is ok, noticed today's list isn't up - not complaining ;) still playing catch up here, but just hope everything is ok

    Monday - kitchen
    HHI

    Tuesday - Living room/Dining Room/Family Room
    Wax/polish any furniture in need
Wipe the legs of any furniture
Wash throws/cushion covers/curtains whilst the weather is set fair

Wednesday - Hall, Stairs, Landing, Downstairs Loo and children's rooms
Bin pens which no longer work and sharpen pencils

    Thursday - Master bedrooms
    Change the bed
    Dust lightshades
    Sort accessories and be ruthless

I think today we're staying home. We were going to visit a local ish attraction, but having read the reviews, it would seem the staff are really unpleasant. Almost all 20 reviews mention it  so think we'll give it a miss and play at home. Tomorrow we'll leave for the inlaws a couple of hours early, there is a park en route that has a sand play area.
So today, I'm going to have a fling boogie in the garage. Later :o

Not too bad a day here, DS1 last one before heading off to the US so I need to get him a couple of things and check he actually does pack.

Off walking this morning and a Governor meeting tonight (if it doesn't get cancelled)

    Catch up all later.

    Good morning :D

We had an eventful day yesterday! We decided to go to the big Swedish furniture store & buy DD2's new bed (double) with some of the money we have raised from ebay. All was going well until the journey home. In hindsight, we should have just paid for delivery! The mattress was tied (we thought securely) to the top of the car. We didn't get very far until it started moving  I ended up pulling over on the A13 (really busy road - lots of lorries on their way to/from docks & M25!), take the mattress off & leave it (and DH) by the side of the road!! We phoned a friend whos OH has a van & he came and rescued him!! It was a bit traumatic! DD2 was really good as she normally gets panicky about little things, let alone big things!

DH is soaking in the bath (aching muscles as he lugged the mattress along to the next slip road to be picked up!)

My plan for the day involves quite a bit of paperwork :(

I am going to have some brekkie, then I need to do:
    • student finance forms (may involve finishing accounts first )
    • phone tax credits
    • invoices & contracts for parent who is being investigated by TC - again! (they need to hassle the people who ARE on the fiddle, not do the genuine one's twice!!)
    • do a food shop
Ok - breakfast first, then I will do HHPaperwork after.

    Glad all is well, dusty

Just having a cuppa, wm will finish soon so will get that hung out. Sun is starting to appear. I have been rooting through my summer box again :o so need to fold and put away everything I've slung on my bed.

Am going to wash bedding tomorrow if tots are sleeping out, their mattresses can be left to air.

I've not begun flinging yet, but I have vacced all downstairs, pulling furniture out etc to round up the last of the dandelion fluff. Then I emptied the vac and cleaned the filter. And kitchen dailies done, DW been on.

DS is still in a mood with me about the dream he had last weekend :( I've told him to belt up and sort his face out :o
