Hi, three years ago i had an eaga system fitted through a government subsided scheme?
after which I had a 1 year warranty, parts and labour. After this ran out I had to pay
approcx. 250 annually to continue the same service (parts and labour) recently however after a problem with my direct debit, the funds wree not in my bank account and the comapny stated due to this that my warranty was no void. I had seven days to pay the outstanding yearly remaning balance or my contract would end as I had defaulted on one months direct debit. Unfortunately i hasve had some financial difficukty and was able to cover the whole years payment and therefpore they tell me that it is now void even though I offered to pay the missed direct debit on my card. Is this actually legal to do from a statutory point of view? despite it apparently being in the small print. in my gut i feel this is not so. pleaes could any and all experts help
Also if this is the case I need to get boiler service immediately, can anyone suggest a honest fair company who provide a good deal at not too high a cost.
Many thanks for your help and assistance.
