Abbey cut me off while I was talking to them.....twice.

Now both my statements balance and my balance are the same.
It seems that things are going slowly back to normal (finger crossed), but there is still a delay in updating the transactions on the statements page to match the balance.
Hopefully it won't be long before everything is back to normal.0 -
yey, mine is back to normal!!Wildly my mind beats against you, yet the soul obeys. :heartpuls

Well, it seems they still have problems, it was allright for the last few days, but today my balance is again not the same as my statements balance, with transactions missing. I know that I have my council tax and rent to pay today, but I've got an extra £25 taken off and I don't know where that is coming from.
When are they going to sort their system out?0 -
My bank account is all wrong today. None of the DD's that have come out today are listed on the statement page yet they have been deducted from my account. Really hope they get it sorted soon, it's so confusing.0

I have to say I have this problem with Halifax fairly regularly, if I've paid for something online it shows that it's still to come out even though it's been collected. I spoke to their customer service and they said that they allocate the money for a week and if it isn't collected you get it back - which I always do but it always seems to happen at the end of the month so I'm frantically transferring money over from my savings to make up the missing amount then have to remember to transfer it all back again - very frustrating!! I don't think it's entirely their fault as from memory when the amount owed has been taken it's gone out as two different amounts equalling the total amount rather than the one amount, it's just frustrating that's all!:jToday is the first day of the rest of your life; live it as if it were your last. :beer:0

Well, MonkeyLady, if it's happening regularly with Halifax, it never happened before with Abbey, and I have been using online banking for the last 6 years.
Even the website changes which happened in the past with Abbey National was a lot smoother than that.
I sure hell hope that online banking with Abbey will go back to be a smooth ride, like before.
But now that everything is moving to Santander, God knows.........
I have just checked my account (again), and this time the transactions are there. At last.0 -
Abbey have been having big problems with online banking, see this http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=458413 thread. At the moment I am finding that the transactions are debited against/credited to the headline balance figure before they are shown on the online statement - it happened with my salary on Thursday and again with my 1st of the month direct debits yesterday, although in the end they were shown on the statement by the end of the day.0
